Seiko's 1969 Speedtimer, one of the world's first automatic chronographs, inspired the design of the Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph. Powered by light energy, this timepiece requires no battery change, offering a 6-month power reserve once fully charged.

The chronograph function can measure up to 60 minutes of elapsed time in 1/5-second increments, with a split time measurement feature. The blue dial features a sunray finish and red accents, complemented by a date calendar and a 24-hour subdial. The LumiBrite hands and markers ensure excellent visibility in low-light conditions.
